They’re bringing back Arturia Storm??
That’s how announcements are done – with a release date!
(not playing hide and seek like inmusic)
Yeah I totally agree
We have something new. We will tell what it is at this exact date and time
I couldn’t give a toss about what Andrew Huang isn’t going to show us about Moog’s new synth just so he can win internet clouts
I’d go one better and just announce it when it’s ready.
None of this pre announcement announcement.
Ain’t nobody got times for games.
They announced
It’s ready
Storm was ahead of its time. I miss it. It would be so easy to bring it back.

Apparently it’s a keyboard controller that does Analog Lab as standalone
I was hoping it was going to be their full version of the mk3, but I had a feeling that wasn’t big enough to warrant the hype of a countdown.
Looks like it is AstroLab https://www.arturia.com/products/hardware-synths/astrolab-61/overview
Astrolab seems to be great for musicians. For the more adventurous I hope Arturias next event will really surprise us. And an updated Storm for iPad/Phones would be a really cool app!
As much as I would love to see something geared towards professional gigging keyboardists, I think Arturia made the right business decision with this. Regardless of the ‘pro’ people they show in the video, this will appeal to bedroom producers that want to simplify sound design and then maybe one day take it to a gig. It’s just a far larger market than the working pro market. So I’m bummed, but I get it. It’s the smart economic move. As a professional I would want far more out of the interface–faders, more knobs, etc. The tiny screen dial looks like it would survive three tours at most.
