Developer Andrew Crawford has launched a Kickstarter project to fund production of the MIDI Goblin, an open source patch saver, arpeggiator, auto-chord, arp-note, sequencer and MIDI LFO.
The MIDI Goblin can be used as a patch bank for synthesizers and MIDI controllers that lack the ability to save patches locally, but have the ability to receive MIDI CC messages.

I would like one of these but I don’t like the design on the front panel. It’s too busy and counterintuitive.
