  1. Cool 3D effect!!! Looks like this pulls inspiration from everything

D16 phoscyon is 60 bucks under that original price of this, and mostly all of the same features… but all the best of luck ahead

  2. The price is double meh.

Anyone has multiple fx already. So whats the selling point exactly?
    „Normally 179“….. For a 303? And here i thought the Abl3 is expensive already
30-50 bucks full price would be more suited
I own Acidbox2 and simply cant find any single argument as to why i should buy this one
But i guess different folks different strokes

  3. Pretty darn expensive for what it is. At it’s regular price you can get a hardware synth like the Donner B1 or the Behring TD-3. Honestly they should price it around $25.

    1. Right, it looks like a early 2000s Rebirth knockoff. Skeumorphism has to die, it’s so often a wrapper for mediocrity that I often develop negative feelings to what might be a decent product as soon as I see it.

  4. I feel like all these “evolutions” of the 303 are a bit much. We probably don’t need anymore clones, but if you’re going to use it as a base to build from a few simple tweaks will do: Additional filter types and maybe a wavefolder on the oscillator section or a modulating oscillator for 2-OP FM with depth (optionally) linked to the accent in the sequencer.

I am curious about that “Groove” control in the sequencer though.

  5. I can appreciate the step sequencer being NOT a pain in the butt. I instantly know what to do and it’s familia and I like the slide/accent sequencers. I think this removes the bs from using a real TB 303 sequencer and I love it.

  6. I can’t see many people wanting to spend more on a virtual instrument than they’d spend on a comparable physical instrument.

The normal price on this is more than the cost of the Behringer TD-3.
