Synamodec Magnetar Distortion Synthesizer Designed For Drone, Ambient, Noise & More

Synamodec has introduced the Magnetar, described as a “dual distortion synthesizer”.

It’s based around a distortion and a fuzz connected in series. The output of the fuzz is connected to a delay, which is then routed to the output. The LFO modulates the delay’s time parameter.

Here’s what they have to say about it:

“It features distortion, fuzz (connected in series), equalization/feedback, delay, and LFO. However, the capabilities of this synth go far beyond a simple sound processor. It can generate incredible sounds without any input, simply by tweaking the controls to create unpredictable sounds, perfect for drone, ambient, noise, and more.

The level pots not only control the levels, but also produce unique textures and intriguing sound variations.”

Pricing and Availability:
