Native Instruments has released Komplete 15, the latest version of its virtual instrument bundle.
Here’s what’s new in Native Instruments Komplete 15:
Kontakt 8 – NI calls this “the biggest update in years” for Kontakt. New Chords and Phrases Tools offer smart features for sparking new ideas. Plus they can be paired with your favorite Kontakt instruments to unlock new creative possibilities.
Meanwhile, Leap opens a world of looping and experimentation, and Conflux, a new hybrid instrument using enhanced wavetable features, allows you to modulate organic and synth-based sounds in real-time.
iZotope Ozone 11 Standard features “cutting-edge processing” and AI-powered workflows to get your music release-ready.
Alicia’s Electric Keys – Alicia Keys’ CP-70 electric grand piano has been one of the cornerstones of her sound. Now, you can bring this instrument into your own productions, and you can dive into Alicia’s own custom effect chains to transform parts into ethereal pads, guitar-like tones, and beyond.
Guitar Rig 7 Pro – it features guitar and bass amp simulators, studio effects, and pedals, plus over 100 new rack presets.
Vocal Colors – an “expressive vocal engine that infuses the emotion of the human voice with incredibly innovative modulation features.”
Kithara offers a cinematic collection of guitars and plucked string instruments, transformed with creative performance techniques and lush sound design. Plus, there’s Acoustic Sunburst Deluxe, packed with strummed and plucked tones from a premium jumbo acoustic guitar.
Pricing and Availability:
Native Instruments Komplete 15 is available in several editions, starting with Komplete 15 Standard for $599 USD. Upgrade pricing is also available. See the NI site for details.
Hm. Not enough stuff to update for K14U owners for my taste. $399 will be spent in 2026/K16.
How they ever managed to turn one of the most exciting music products into one of the most boring is astonishing. The last major product that changed something was Maschine, and that is still not a great system if you want it to do more than beatmaking. The rest are incremental updates. I would love to have Abysnth back.
