At the 2025 NAMM Show, held Jan 21–25 in Anaheim, CA, Nord introduced the Nord Organ 3, the latest generation of their Organ series, which they say “delivers a massive leap forward in sound, design, and performance.”
At its core is a refined B3 emulation, a newly developed rotary speaker emulation, synth bass, expanded effects section and “vastly improved” Vox and Farfisa models.
The Nord Organ 3 features two, high-quality 61-key triple-sensor, semi-weighted waterfall keyboards. A redesigned panel layout with an OLED display ensures intuitive control, giving instant access to sounds and parameters.
Connectivity options include two 1/4″ TRS balanced audio outputs, an 11-pin Leslie connector for rotary speaker cabinets, 5-pin MIDI I/O, a Bass Pedal 5-pin MIDI input, and an Aux output for optional Bass/Pedal routing.

I don’t know whose idea it was to decorate the drawbars with a piano motif, but it’s ugly as hell. I’m sure it sounds fantastic but the top panel just looks like an overdesigned mess to me.
i try to stay out of things but… really? seriously?? have you NEVER seen a Hammond organ in your life?!? the drawbars have been that way for almost a century now (i believe it’s designed so one can see related harmonics easily while playing).
Looks like an Organ to me too.
I think they mean the pattern on the panel, underneath the draw bars. The numbers are on a black strip and it’s white below and all around including under the numbers. This isn’t an issue on a Hammond XK5 because they are an actual bar, and it’s not as bad on the previous Nord organ either because the black strip goes all the way down. I agree it does look very busy and it’s not really necessary.
ohhh okay, yeah, i see it now. not the drawbar caps themselves but the panel underneath. maybe it looks better in person than in a high contrast jpeg online? but yeah, sometimes simple and subtle is better.
Not a big deal, though, those Namm Nord Organ demos sound brilliant, so much fun.
It is difficult to make slots in metal completely invisible. If it leaves the visual impression of a keyboard beneath the sliders then that peculiarity is in your eyes only. It certainly is not an intentional pattern. I didn’t notice it until it was mentioned, and I can’t even be bothered to see it now. Recreating traditional drawbar sliders would have significantly cut into profit or raised the price which is already considerable.
