Pricing and Availability
Serum 2 is available now with an intro price of $189 USD (normally $249). It’s a free upgrade for existing Serum owners.
Jeez Richard really went at this demo
That was very sick!
Ohhhhh cool to see this – I wonder how it’s comparing with phase plant now
…. Or if a better comparison is minimal’s current? Either way it’s a great time to be playing with soft synths!
Does Serum support MPE?
Since 2019
I’ve seen a few grumbles about Serum lagging behind lately. This update pushes it back to the forefront. The Multisample oscillator in particular amps it up a lot. Steve Duda is a seriously creative player. Its excellent work.
Now, that’s a VST that should be put in a box.
boycott US goods
As we all know, a synth is a machine that kills fascists. I’m pretty sure that also goes for a virtual synth. And I don’t see Steve Duda following Heilon Muskrat as head of DOGE anytime soon.
The American regime needs to stop threatening the independence of sovereign nations including Canada, Panama and Greenland. They also need to walk back their global tariff war.
Until then, boycott US goods.
Sure, selling less Serum 2 licenses will likely change their mind. Boycott companies that actually support Trump, not indie software and synth developers. They have enough problems already, and unlike big companies like Tesla, a boycott can actually hurt them. See „Goods Unite Us“ for details on which brands support Trump.
Your country is threatening to destroy the Canadian economy and annex our nation. I’m not spending money on US products or services unless I can help it.
Failure to take action makes you complicit.
everyone uses tariffs…pot…kettle….black
Canada followed the U.S. in slapping the tariffs on Chinese EVs last fall, while also putting a 25 per cent surtax on imports of steel and aluminum products from China.

The US administration has stated openly that tariffs are being placed on Canada with the intent of weakening the Canadian economy and annexing the country. None of this is normal.
Once again, we’re not buying your stuff until you respect our sovereignty.
Me and Alexander the great support the president 110%
my problem is that i hate dubstep music but im really into the sound design and bass and sfx and so on… so now im getting back into drum and bass instead
its like, i dont hate the wubwub bass… but i really hate how its used in dubstep for some reason… which is still a bit perplexing from a personal angle
considering they both are ultimately derived from reggae music, thats interesting – because i also hate ska music
but yeh – you do you
Sabazeus, I’m not sure how dubstep can be derived from reggae – are you? Can you elaborate please, because I think the notion that it is is faintly ridiculous.
makes you want to stroke those on screen nipple knobs with your big tough hairy mouse.
Part of me wants this, but I remember I have Bitwig. And Phase Plant. I guess I will try the trial for fun
