Verve Records has announced that two new albums are coming June 6th, from pioneering ambient electronic composer and producer Brian Eno and “Musical weirdo and visionary” Beatie Wolfe.
The new albums, Luminal and Lateral, will be released on June 6th, 2025. Luminal is described as ‘Dream music’, and Lateral as ‘Space music’.
Beatie Wolfe is a multimedia artists whose recent projects include: visualisation of 800,000 years of NASA’s CO2 data, which premiered at the Nobel Prize Summit; a brain installation which was exhibited at the London Design Biennale in Somerset House and is currently on show at the Museum of Science Boston; the world’s first bioplastic record with Michael Stipe and Earth Percent; and a collective mail art project with DEVO’S Mark Mothersbaugh.
Brian Eno is a musician, producer, visual artist and activist, probably best known for his iconic work in defining the ambient music genre. Eno and Wolfe first met when they gave a SXSW talk on ‘Art and Climate’. The talk was recently selected as one of the festival’s best in 25 years.
