  1. Yup, it does. Like the Linux versions of Bitwig, Traction, Reaper and even Ardour, which when I got it was pay what you can (it was free if you built it from source). And I bought all of them, and still paid less than Ableton.

  2. On first try, there seem to be issues with using pipewire. Does not recognize my audio interface on first startup and the UI is wonky a bit. Installed the snap version on arch. In fact, it only lists alsa in the advanced audio settings. Nope. Not usable yet. Uninstalling…

    1. Thanks for trying out n-Track. Due to the way Snap permissions work with audio devices, if Alsa is enabled for the n-Track Snap (“connected” in Snap terminology) n-Track can then only access Alsa directly. If Alsa is not connected, then n-Track can only access the Pipewire/Pulseaudio shared device.
To connect Alsa (default should be already connected):
      sudo snap connect n-trackstudio:alsa
To disconnect (and make pipewire work):
      sudo snap disconnect n-trackstudio:alsa
This limitation is not there when n-Track is installed directly (currently with the .deb package).

      Flavio.
