Livid Instruments has has announced that the Minim – a wireless, pocket-sized MIDI controller – is now available for pre-order. The Minim was initially funded via a Kickstarter project. Backers have committed more than double Livid’s Kickstarter $40,000 goal for their Minim mobile MIDI controller. The project has reached nearly $100,000 in funding, with about a week left to go.

Livid Announces Minim Wireless Controller; Launches Kickstarter

Livid Instruments has launched a crowdfunding campaign for their newest instrument, Minim. Instrument developers describe Minim as “the world’s first pocket-sized wireless instrument designed for mobile music creation.” Minim’s design allows for “intuitive” control over iOS apps, DAWs, software plug-ins, MIDI effects units, among others.

Something To Think About

Use a contrary movement if possible. Although similar movements can sound good, don’t use them all the time. When possible, have one line descent if the other ascends. The more lines there are, the more you should use contrary movements.
