Propellerhead Record doesn\’t compete will full-fledged digital audio workstations, but instead tries to carve out new territory for audio recording apps. It does this by leaving out rarely used features and simplifying the rest.

According to Propellerhead, Record was designed for musicians – not audio engineers.
